| Sixteen members of the Junior High Choir had the honor of performing for Archbishop Gomez and archdiocese dignitaries, Monday, January 30th. The performance was held at the Chancery and precluded the archbishop’s press conference to “kick off” Catholic Schools Week. Before the choir sang, Father Tony and Archbishop Gomez were photographed with the choir and afterwards the archbishop personally congratulated each student. The choir then proceeded to the Sacred Heart Conventual Chapel at Our Lady of the Lake University for a private tour lead by former St. Mary’s School principal, Sr. Alexia. The choir had the wonderful opportunity to sing in the historic chapel. Attending both events and in constant support of the students were Mary Ann Murchison, accompanist and Billy Pahl, Principal.
