| | St. Mary's School Council | The St. Mary's School Council which is the policy making body for the school, and which is consultative to the pastor and principal. This council implements the policies of the Archdiocesan School Council and establishes additional policies to meet local needs. The school council meets regularly; school council minutes are approved by the members and signed by the president and secretary. A signed copy of the minutes are kept on file. The public is informed of the dates of regular meetings which they may attend. Meetings devoted to personnel matters, real estate transactions or other sensitive issues are not open to the public (executive session). The right of non-members or visitors to address the council shall be limited to those whose petition has been presented in writing at least seven (7) days in advance of the regular meeting date and been approved for the agenda. The council will provide guidelines for the format of the address. The council may not reach a decision in the presence of the visiting party. The school council does not deal with complaints or grievances. The school council instead sets a procedure a to hear grievances from individuals, parents, and organizations. | Buffy Frantzen is a member of St. Mary's Catholic Parish. She is employed by Fredericksburg Independent School District as a fifth grade teacher and has been a teacher for 10 years. Mrs. Frantzen graduated from Graham High School in Graham, TX and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise and Sports Studies at Tarleton State University in Stephenville. She is a certified teacher in All-level Special Education, All-level Physical Education, Life/Earth Science, All-level Health, and Elementary Education. She holds a current certificate for teaching Gifted and Talented students as well. She is involved with the Women's ACTS program and is a lector for the parish. Mrs. Frantzen is married to Shane Frantzen, who was born and raised in Fredericksburg and St. Mary's school, and they are excited that the first of two children now attends St. Mary's. Mrs. Frantzen is looking forward to being of service to St. Mary's School as a council member. | Brad Hardin

Jenny Immel is a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Parish. She is employed by Fredericksburg Independent School District as a fifth grade teacher, and has been a teacher for 9 years. Mrs. Immel graduated from Fredericksburg High School and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies at Texas A&M University in College Station. She received a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado. She is involved with the Women’s ACTS program and is looking forward to being of service to St. Mary’s School as a council member. |  Michael Kraus | Holly O'Neill began her term as council member in 2007. She is a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Parish and is employed by the Fredericksburg Independent School District as Purchasing Agent. Mrs. O’Neill graduated from Fredericksburg High School and received a Bachelors of Arts degree in Business Administration from Tarleton State University in Stephenville. She is involved in the Women’s ACTS community and is on the Winter Benefit Committee and the Strategic Plan Committee. She and her husband, Carl, have two children – Jacob, who attended St. Mary’s School through the eighth grade and is currently (2007-08) a senior at the University of Texas in Austin, and Hailey, a 7th grader at St. Mary’s School. Mrs. O’Neill looks forward to contributing to the continued success of St. Mary’s School as a council member.

| Krista Stehling is a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Parish. Ms. Stehling graduated from Fredericksburg High School and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Angelo State University, San Angelo, Texas. She was a St. Mary’s School fifth grade teacher from 1994 to 2001, and assisted students in planning liturgies. She has been a member of the PTC since 1994 and served as General Chairperson of the Maifest for the last three years. She is committed to the St. Mary’s School as she was a former student, and her children have also attended the school. She brings a unique perspective with experience in both teaching and parenting of St. Mary’s students. | Jeff Williams
